Male sex workers in Amsterdam's windows

✨In 1995, #amsterdam ran a wild social experiment: they swapped the female seggs workers in the windows, for men. 🚨 Result? People were confused, business dropped and they ended the experiment asap.

It raises the real question: is male seggs work still not as popular today? 🧐 Perhaps some reasons may be:

🚨 Women still aren’t socialized to seek out paid seggs the way men are
🚨There is more stigma around women buying seggs than men
🚨cultural double standards around desire and control
🚨Safety and trust also play a huge role
🚨And let’s be honest, and realistic, it takes A LOT longer for a woman to “finish”… than a man, so the turnover may not be as quick resulting in less money 😆 (assuming finishing is the goal of course!😅)
