One of my favorite memories from #tokyo! 🇯🇵

I love finding experiences that teach me about the parts of a culture that most guidebooks completely ignore.

This wasn’t just a RLD 🚨, it started in a tiny hidden speakeasy with comedian @meshida_comedy , who mixed stand-up, interactive trivia, and fascinating stories about Japan’s adult industry and cultural history before taking us on a walking tour through the neighborhood.

I laughed, I learned a ridiculous amount, and I left with a much deeper understanding of a side of Tokyo I never would have appreciated on my own.

If you’re someone who enjoys learning about culture through history, humor, and the stories locals tell, this was one of the highlights of my trip.
