My first intimacy retreat

So I love retreats, I’ve been on many 🙃 But I’ve never attended an “intimacy” 😌💕 retreat before… so this is a new experience.

After hearing about it from a good internet friend who also works in the 🌶️space ( @taty_k_king )🙃, I thought… hmmmm. This is basically two of my interests combined: retreats + learning about intimacy and all things a little spicy. And it’s in the beautiful country of Greece 🇬🇷—how could I say no?

This felt like the perfect opportunity to immerse myself in a new space, learn a bunch of cool things, and of course report back to you. To satisfy your curiosity—and maybe inspire you to try something like this if it feels aligned for you.

A few things I’ve learned so far:

* It’s incredible how close you can get to a stranger within the right context and facilitation.

* It can feel both overwhelming and liberating to be in a space where people are so free, secs-positive, and direct about what they want—even when it comes to things like touch.

* Don’t assume everyone in these “🌶️ spaces” is fully attuned, communicative, and open—people here are also learning and on their own journey.

* When done well, these can feel like some of the safest spaces to share.

* It’s incredibly body-positive

* There’s a really nice balance between people who are brand new to this world and those who are more experienced, which makes it feel more accessible and less intimidating.

This is my first, and it definitely won’t be my last. There are so many different types of experiences like this, and so many ways to participate. It’s such a unique opportunity to meet like-minded people and learn a SH*T ton about yourself.

You’ll find couples, friends, solo attendees—people of all ages and body types.

PS. I know this pic it looks sunny and hot and beautiful. But that’s editing. It’s actually been cold as sh*t, windy. I wear sweater and socks to bed 😅 but I did it for the gram. It is NOT beach weather in Greece right now. 💨
