5 date ideas in Paris, ranked by spice level
Everyone talks about #paris as the #cityoflove.
But let’s be honest… not all date nights are created equal.
So here are a few of my fav date ideas in Paris, ranking 5 from romantic and wholesome to “maybe don’t do this one on the first date.”🌶️
🌶️ Sunset Picnic on the Seine
This is peak Paris.
Grab a baguette, some cheese, charcuterie, fruit, and your beverage of choice and head to the river around sunset.
Simple. Affordable. Romantic.
🌶️🌶️ The Dabble Date
One thing I noticed in Paris is that many couples sit beside each other at cafés instead of across from one another.
So make a game of it.
Spend an afternoon wandering the city. Every time a café catches your eye, stop for a drink.
Sit side-by-side.
Watch the city.
Talk about what you see.
No phones.
No agenda.
No forced conversation.
Just sharing an experience together.
🌶️🌶️🌶️ Secret Speakeasy Cocktails
Paris has no shortage of hidden cocktail bars tucked behind unmarked doors and secret entrances.
My favourite was @mobster_bar
1920’s vibe. Dim lighting, cozy seating, low music, and just enough mystery to make you feel like you’re starring in your own romantic movie.
Bonus points if you both pretend you’re meeting in secret. 🤫😏
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ @crazyhorseparis
Paris has plenty of cabaret shows, but Crazy Horse feels different.
It’s intimate, artistic, playful, and undeniably sexy.
Get dressed up, have a nice dinner beforehand, and make a night of it.
It’s a touristy thing to do, but not to be missed.
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ @lechochotte
Okay, now we’re fully leaving the wholesome category.
If you and your partner enjoy exploring outside the traditional dinner-and-drinks formula, Paris offers experiences you simply won’t find in most cities.
Let’s just say this one is for adventurous couples who enjoy a little curiosity, a little excitement, and stories they’ll be talking about long after the trip is over.
What’s your spice level: 🌶️, 🌶️🌶️, or 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️?
