Learning to surf woke something up in me

Major 🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀 alert 🚨! I had this weird, spiritual awakening when I started learning how to surf.

I was always scared to learn. But I bit the bullet when we went to visit friends in Nicaragua 🇳🇮.

I sucked balls. Didn’t expect anything more 🤣 but I LOVED how much my body felt afterwards. And I was also DETERMINED to stand on my board at least ONCE!

Which I eventually did. For like 2 seconds 😅.

But those two seconds, plus my million other attempts taught me a major lesson (which I sometimes forget and need to be reminded).

This is where the fromage 🧀 begins… life is TOUGH and you’ll fall off that board a million times, and the important thing is that you keep getting back on to try again, and again, and again…

You’ll see those micro-progressions eventually, and they will add up, and you will be amazing! ✌️✌️✌️
